KENOSHA -- Multi-billion dollar gaming and entertainment company Hard Rock International has announced plans to develop and manage the off-reservation proposed for Kenosha.

The deal would give the Menomonee Tribe of Wisconsin's proposal to build an $800 million casino new credibility with both public and private sectors.

The proposed Kenosha casino has been at the center of controversy since their application was approved by the U.S. Department of Interior. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has yet to approve the casino, and said he'll only approve the plan if all 10 tribes approve the proposed casino.

The owners of the Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee strongly oppose the building of a new casino in Kenosha. They say the Kenosha casino would cost them roughly a third of their revenue.
