GREENFIELD -- The Greenfield police and fire department partnered with Greenfield and Witnall schools for active shooter training. They all know if there is an active shooter situation at a local school multiple agencies would be involved.

Assistant Greenfield Police Chief Paul Schlecht says, "We want to practice working together. We also want to practice integrating the fire department and the fire rescue into the active shooter element.

Departments trained at Whitnall High School on August 27, and will train at Greenfield High School on August 28.
