MILWAUKEE-- Greek Fest kicked off Friday at the Wisconsin State Fair grounds. It's the perfect festival to be Greek for a day or for a full weekend.

There's carnival rides, traditional food and live Greek music from the band Hellenic 5 on Saturday.

This is the 49th year and organizers are expecting over 40,000 people to visit the grounds throghout the weekend.

Entrance is free, but all proceeds from the vendors at the Fest will go towards the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Milwaukee.

Despite road construction on I-94, access to State Fair Grounds will still be open. Organizers highly suggest you enter the park via Greenfield Ave, Bluemound Rd, 92nd st, 58th or 70th street.
