Governor Hires Attorney

Tools

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker says he is meeting with a district attorney leading a secret investigation into former close aides that has already led to criminal charges against five people.
Walker issued a statement Friday saying he will be meeting with Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm. He did not say when the meeting would take place.
The charges so far have come against people who worked or were associated with Walker's county executive office in Milwaukee before he was elected governor. Two people were charged with embezzling $60,000 from veterans and their families. Two others last week were charged with illegal campaign activity on public time.
Walker says he has hired two attorneys but no public money will be used to pay for their services.

Wisconsin's new Republican Governor, "Stray Cat BILL" from Mequon said on Sunday, Feb 5 at 3:19 AM

OH Wow. Bill is right, it doesn't matter if you have a 'no guns allowed' posted, HE"S RIGHT! He's got a gun lol Brilliant! It was so simple, only a cop will get the gun away from a guy like Bill. PLUS I like beer LIKE ANYBODY ELSE, but a guy who will drink a beer after a stray cat has peed in his beer, WELL you have got to admire his ability to stay focused, But one thing I've never met is a republican who would let a democrat URINATE in his beer and then DRINK IT!? That is called being bipartisan, and as sick as he may be, I think he can get congress to work together and I'm sure can get most of the republicans to do what Bill did, swallow their pride and Drink a Dirty LIBTARD Democrat's Stinky URINE. This Guy has ALL our votes in the town of Lawrence Wisconsin. (I think Bill can be a good President, but I think he'd also be a good governor.) For sure he'd be the best Governor we've ever had. I'll buy Bill a beer too, just to see him do his drinking trick. BILL FOR GOVERNOR!

Yes I took the day off...can't argue with you guys everyday. With the constant attacks on everything the Governor does, I think it's a good idea to hire an attorney. Jeff and his unin buddies are the ones taking from the poor with billions in perk money to union members.

Well done Lawyer Bayles said on Saturday, Feb 4 at 1:56 PM

Looks like Herman Bayles refused to represent Walker, Bayles said he has to believe in his client and for that reason declined to represent him.

it took a year but he is going to get what he has deserved. He took away from the sick and poor and gave big by giving away the farm to big business in the form of no tax...how can we run the state without that money? take away more from the middle class. He nixed the train so the road builders who he is in bed with (MANN BROS. and RYAN) keep the fat state contracts. Who cares about the train builder in the inner city. Walker does'nt. He is going to get what he deserves!

On a serious note," to all Democrats and Republicans", I'm posting a web address, cut and paste it in your browser to read the info.(news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/mud-studies-negative-tv-ads-tell-us-men-120329550.html) It characterizes the practitioner of the negative ads you find yourself inundated with during the election seasons. All things considered it does a little heads up to the tactics both parties will use to get your vote using any kind of lie they feel we need. Lots of older examples we all probably remember. If it doesn't make you mad, at least it makes you more in tune to what we have to deal with. Turn off your radios "you don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows"

Why did CBS 58 give Stephen Glynn , a consistent contributor to Denocrats, such a prominent role in this story on the news tonight without identifying his political contributions?

%(, the guy just took a step above pathetic to ignoramus. Of course he probably had Herman Bayles advising him. Now maybe we can get rid of the crying banter from all the republiturds on here, maybe we can finally get this state back to the plus side like before Walker and his staff stole the election.

Walker did what? said on Friday, Feb 3 at 9:31 PM

We all know Walker works for the NATIONAL GOP. We need someone who works for the people, the middle class...NOT BIG GOP MONEY. The republicans are for the rich and big business! Dems. are for everyday working folk. Don't be fooled by people like Walker, Wagner, Sikes , Fritzy, Voss and the slimy list goes on and on....

Scott, we are proud of your first year in office. You managed to bust the unions, cut from the middle class yet keep them on our side with golden carrots like opening liquor stores at 6a.m. and relaxing hunting rules. They bite on very little. anyway, we have bigger things coming up, we need you to go and talk to that Milwaukee D.A.. Our sources say they are starting to get too close for comfort. We need you to talk to them and see where the investigation is and what direction it is going. Stay cool, we will get you out of this. P.S. nice job on pushing the mine, makes us all happy. Thanks Scott, Mr. KOCH.

Finally we are getting to the cause of all the problems in Wisconsin. Maybe our taxes will go down once he's gone. I know all of us will be glad to save all the money he has cost the taxpayers with this recall. Just Resign Walker, or be recalled.
