Girl Struck by Arrow in Fond du Lac Co.

A little girl is recovering after she was hit by a flying arrow. It happened on Main Street in the Village of Campbellsport in Fond du Lac County. The Fond du Lac Sheriff's Department says the 7-year old girl was walking down the street when she was hit in the back by the arrow. She's now at Children's Hospital in Wauwatosa. They're not releasing her condition.

The sheriff's report doesn't say where the arrow came from. The incident is under investigation. The sherrif's department says the incident does not pose any further threat to public safety.
