Four officers accused of illegal strip searches denied change of venue

MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- Four Milwaukee Police officers accused of conducting illegal and invasive strip searches were in court today. The officers petitioned the court for a change of venue.

A Milwaukee County judge denied the officers a change of venue.

Officer Michael Vagnini is facing 25 charges including felony sexual assault.

His fellow officers, Brian Kozelek, Jeffrey Dollhopf and Jacob Knight are accused of not stopping or reporting the searches.

All men have pleaded not guilty. The men are scheduled to go on trial in April.
