Fire guts Union Grove barn

UNION GROVE -- An early morning fire destroys part of a Racine County barn.

Racine County officials tell CBS 58 they received a call of a barn fire in the 900 block of 67th Street.

When crews arrived around 4 Wednesday morning, they found the barn fully engulfed in flames.

There were about 60 cattle on the premises, so residents immediately started evacuating them to a safe location before fire fighters arrived.

Officials said no one was hurt in the barn fire. It took about an hour to get it under control.
