Domestic argument ends in fatal shooting on Milwaukee's south side

MILWAUKEE --- Police are investigating a fatal shooting on the city's south side. A 49-year-old man shot and killed a 39-year-old man in the 1900 block of S. 5th St. around 6:30 p.m on March 10th.

Police say the shooting suspect was involved in an argument with the mother of his children when she called a male acquaintance to the scene. The 39-year-old male acquaintance was shot in the head outside of the home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 49-year-old man fled the scene of the shooting, but crashed his car into a parked vehicle on S. 13th St.

The Milwaukee Police Department has referred criminal charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
