SUV collides with a motorcycle after failing to stop

TOWN OF GRAFTON---On Friday at about 2:45 p.m. an SUV failed to yield at the stop sign at CTH W and CTH V in the Town of Grafton.

The SUV proceeded through the intersection and struck a motorcycle that was northbound on CTH V.

The driver of the motorcycle was pinned under the SUV for some time.

The biker was transported to Aurora Hospital in Grafton and was then taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver's name is being withheld until notification of family.

The driver of the SUV, Jeff Pionkoski, was cited for failure to yield for a stop sign resulting in the death of another.

Pionkoski was not injured.
