MILWAUKEE---Police were called to the scene of a homicide at 52nd and Locust Friday afternoon.

Officers got the call around 2:00 p.m. They found a 33-year-old man had been shot dead.

Neighbors tell CBS 58's Rielle Creighton that the victim was found in the garage.

Sources tell us it's believed the shooting actually happened much early than police arrived, possibly 2:30 in the morning.

There is no word on motive or arrests. Resident Paul Roberson tells CBS 58, "This used to be one of the quietest neighborhoods. I don't know about now."

Resident Barry Johnson added, "Unfortunately, it's the time we live in. We just gotta be careful."
