Fatal shooting on Milwaukee's northwest side
MILWAUKEE---Police were called to the scene of a homicide at 52nd and Locust Friday afternoon.
Officers got the call around 2:00 p.m. They found a 33 year old man dead. He had been shot. Neighbors tell CBS 58's Rielle Creighton that the victim was found in the garage. Sources tell us it's believed the shooting actually happened much early 2:30 in the morning. Neighbors say it was painful to watch family members crying openly on the street when the awful truth became known. There is no word on motive or arrests. Resident Paul Roberson tells CBS 58, "This used to be one of the quietest neighborhoods. I don't know about now." Resident Barry Johnson added, "Unfortunately, it's the time we live in. We just gotta be careful." |
