WAUKESHA-The family of one of the 12 year old stabbing suspects openly wept as they left the courtroom Monday.

Through their attorney they apologized to the 12 year old girl who was stabbed 19 times and at last report was in stable condition.

"The family is horrified by what happened," defense attorney Donna Kuchler said. "The family is sorry for what happened to the victim."

CBS 58 News is not identifying either suspect or their families until we are certain the case will not be placed back in juvenile court.

The two 12 year old girls are charged with the attempted murder of their middle school classmate.

They allegedly lured her to a wooded area and according to police one suspect held her down while the other inflicted the stab wounds.

Investigators say they had been planning the attack for months, inspired by a website of short stories on horror and death.

"This should be a wake up call to parents," declared Waukesha Police Chief Russell Jack. "They should restrict their child's internet usage.

Creepypasta.wikia.com says it "does not endorse or advocate for killing, worship, and otherwise replication of rituals of fictional works. There is a line between fiction and reality, and it is up to you to realize where the line is. We are a literature site, not a satanic cult."
