FBI releases final report, concludes Sikh temple shooter acted alone
MILWAUKEE---Three months after gunman Wade Michael Page stormed the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, killing six people, the case has been closed.
In a four paragraph statement the FBI announced the end of its investigation concluding that Page acted alone. They also said they found no evidence to suggest that he carried out the shooting at the orders of, or with the help of any white supremacist group or anyone else. Is that supposed to make me feel better or worse? asked Pardeep Kaleka Kaleka's Father, Temple President Satwant Singh Kaleka was killed in the temple. He says the investigation has left him with no answers. "There's still nothing to wrap your head around and basically say ok now it makes sense to me," Kaleka said. Kaleka says the FBI did continuously brief family members about the results of the probe but, they're briefings he chose to avoid. "I've heard enough on the incident, you get exhausted from reliving and reliving it, it keeps opening that wound and if I’m going to open that wound up I'm going to open it up so something good can come out of it," said Kaleka. |
