Ex-Walker aide sentenced to one year probation

MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- Darlene Wink, former aide to then Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker, was sentenced to one year probation. She was found guilty of two misdemeanor counts of doing illegal campaign work while employed with Milwaukee County.

Wink was supposed to be sentenced in November, but a judge pushed back her hearing so she could testify against another former Walker staffer.

The court also fined Wink $1,000, and ordered her to do 50 hours of community service.
