MILWAUKEE- Milwaukee police were still be unable to locate the body of Ebony "Evon" Young's Monday.

MPD started searching a local landfill for Young's remains that morning with heavy equipment and dogs.

Five men, including Young's roommate Billy Griffin, are charged in the 22-year-old's murder and beating.

CBS 58 spoke with Young's mother who said she was hoping to get her son back as soon as possible, but she wasn't sure if it would give her and the rest of the family closure.

Young was a female to male transgender rapper, but police believe that had nothing to do with the murder.

It appears burglary was the motive.

Waste Management, the landfill operator, said in a statement from thier manager of Public Affairs:

"We're doing all that we can to assist MPD's efforts. In deference to both the ongoing investigation and sensativity to the famil, we can't comment further."
