SHEBOYGAN FALLS --- Two juveniles are in custody after an elderly woman is found dead in Sheboygan Falls.

The Sheboygan Falls Police Chief gave a press conference Thursday that revealed some disturbing details about the incident.

Police arrested two boys under the age of 18 early Thursday morning. They face first-degree intentional homicide charges.

The incident took place just after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of W. Ridge Dr. in Sheboygan Falls.

Police say a family member found a 78-year-old woman lying in her garage in a pool of blood.

She died from blunt force.

The woman lived alone and Police say one of the suspects knew her and they believe the boys were targeting the elderly woman.

The violent nature of the crime prompted a large response including the Department of Criminal Investigations, 12 Special Agents and the State Mobile Crime Lab Forensic Evidence Team.

Police say the juveniles also stole valuables before leaving the victim's home.

A neighbor says she's grateful police caught the suspects, but she still fears for her families well being.

"They apprehended him but we don't know if this is going to be a copy cat thing," neighbor Bobbie Norlander said. "People get ideas when they see things on the news. You never know."

Police believe people in the neighborhood are safe. The chief says he will share more information about this case as the investigation unfolds.
