Eight drunk drivers arrested during Operation Drive Sober patrols

MILWAUKEE COUNTY-- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office arrested eight drunk drivers during its Operation Drive Sober patrols this weekend.

The aggressive weekend patrols were ordered by Sheriff Clarke last year in order to crack down on drunk drivers on the Milwaukee County freeway system.

This average PBT of those arrested this weekend was .16.

Three repeat drunk drivers were apprehended.

57-year-old John Springob of West Allis was arrested for his third OWI.

Laurie Anderson, 43 of Muskego, and 35-year-old Tyrone Wilson of West Allis were both arrested for their second offense OWI.

The five other drunk drivers arrested were first time offenders.
