Duke pleads no contest on four charges
MILWAUKEE---Kelly Duke pleaded no contest in court Thursday.
He is accused of killing Ed and Jean Thaves early New Years Day. Duke was driving drunk in a stolen car around 6:00 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle landed on top of the couples car, killing them both. Duke then fled the scene. Duke pled no contest on two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, one count of hit and run involving death and knowingly driving with a suspended license, causing great bodily harm. Sentencing is scheduled for January 11. |
