Drunk driver plunges into river

WAUKESHA—A drunk driver is arrested after plunging their vehicle into the Fox River.

The Waukesha Police Department was called to the downtown area near Riverfront Plaza and Friedman Drive around 11:30 p.m. Friday.

The driver managed to get out of the vehicle before crews arrived, but a tow truck had to pull the car out of the river.

The driver was arrested for drunk driving.
