Driver crashes into police squad after gun shots fired

MILWAUKEE-- A driver crashes into a Milwaukee police squad car after being shot at by another vehicle.

Three girls, an infant and two teens, were injured when the car crashed around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Milwaukee police said that an unknown group of poeple who were in another vehicle started shooting at a car that was driving near 23rd and Keefe.

The driver tried to get away, but slammed into a parked Milwaukee police squad near 22nd & Hopkins.

A 7-month-old girl, a 13-year-old female and a 16-year-old female who were in the car all suffered non-life threatening injured.

They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The 19-year-old female driver and a 19-year-old male passenger were not injured.

There are no suspects in custody. Police said that the investigation is ongoing.
