Domestic incident turns into tactical situation
WAUKESHA--A domestic incident turns into a tactical situation for the Waukesha Police Department.
It happened at 9:09 p.m. Saturday when the communication center received a frantic call from an Indiana woman visiting with her family. She said that she had gotten into an argument with her husband at a local restaurant and that it escalated when they returned to their hotel located in the 2500 block of Plaza Court. The woman said that she stayed inside her van with her six kids and that her husband went inside the hotel room. She said that her husband was a 32-year-old Indiana man who was in an Asian gang at that she feared that he was going to the room to get his gun to shoot her. Police arrived and took the woman and her kids to safety. They surrounding the hotel room while evacuating nearby rooms and called the man out of his room. At 10:16 p.m. he surrendered himself and his 45 caliber gun to police. The man was taken into custody without incident. He will be charged with recklessly endangering safety and domestic disorderly conduct. |
