Family of Derek Williams react to advisory verdict

MILWAUKEE -- Our Stephanie Brown got reaction from Derek Williams' family just after a jury delivered a verdict saying Milwaukee police officers should face criminal charges.

In July of 2011 Williams collapsed and died in the back of a sqaud car. He had been involved in a chase with police as part of a robbery investigation.

Squad car video shows Williams struggling to breathe and that police did not respond right away when he asked for help.

The ruling from the jury is only an advisory verdict, and the special prosecutor still has to make a determination whether charges should be filed.
