Deputies investigate deadly accident in Washington County
WASHINGTON COUNTY -- The Washington County Sheriff's Department is investigating a deadly crash in the Village of Richfield.
It happened around 7:45 Tuesday night near WIS 164 just south of Pioneer Road. The Sheriff's Office said a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old Sussex man collided head on with another vehicle driven by a 28-year-old Village of Richfield man and his 29-year-old wife. Deputies say neither passenger in the second car was wearing a seatbelt. The 28-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene. His wife and the driver of the other vehicle were both taken to the hospital. The Sheriff's Office said it is too soon to tell if alcohol played a role in this deadly accident. |
