Dense fog causing problems on roadways

by WDJT Assignment Desk

MILWAUKEE—Dense fog created low visibility and caused problems on the roads Monday morning.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office responded to 18 crashes between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m.

On a normal day, they respond to 3-6 crashes in that time period.

Not only did the fog make for a difficult and slow commute, but it also caused some delays at Mitchell International Airport.

The dense fog advisory is no longer in effect inland, but in areas along the lakefront it remains in effect until 4 p.m. Monday.
