Deadly shooting suspect due for sentencing

MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- A 24-year-old Milwaukee man who plead guilty to a deadly shooting in August 2010, is scheduled for sentencing Friday morning.

According to the criminal complaint, witnesses saw Eric McGruder fired at least 7 shots at Larry Howard, 40, while he sat on his porch.

Howard was hit in the chest and later died at the hospital.

McGruder will be sentenced on a charge of first degree reckless homicide.
