D.O.T worker helps stop wrong way driver
MILWAUKEE - A Wisconsin Department of Transportation worker who helped stop a wrong way driver on the Interstate spoke with CBS 58 News. Nicholas Deming monitors traffic flow and assists construction crews working on the Mitchell Interstate project. Early Sunday morning, Deming was with a construction crew on the Interstate when someone noticed headlights heading southbound toward them in the northbound lanes of I-94. Deming and the crew were able to get the man to slowdown and eventually stop. No one was hurt. 56 year old Daniel Bostedt was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. Preliminary blood/alcohol tests indicated that Bostedt was nearly two times the legal limit. Bostedt is the 28th wrong way driver in Milwaukee County this year. Deming spoke with CBS 58 News about the incident.
