DA Responds to County Supervisor Allegedly Accepting Bribe

by Britni McDonald

MILWAUKEE-- County Supervisor Johnny Thomas is charged with two felony counts for allegedly accepting a bribe in exchange for placing an item on the agenda of a county contract.

District Attorney John Chisholm says he's innocent until proven guilty, but says this was not entrapment.

According to the criminal complaint, Thomas accepted 500 dollars in cash in exchange for placing an item on the agenda of the Milwaukee County Board's finance committee. This item would recommend that the county award a financial services contract to Public Financial Management Corporation. The day after accepting the cash, he voted on that matter. PFM is not connected to any misconduct alleged in the complaint.

Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele's staff was made aware of Thomas' actions in the fall, and investigators began looking into it.

So like all the other republiturds, you're saying you didn't mean what you said and now you are claiming that you didn't say what you meant but someone else said it for you. Walker is claiming that same thing! hahahahaha The end of the republican party is coming a lot sooner then everyone thought. Keep it up Cazie.
