MILWAUKEE—A crash involving a mini van on Milwaukee’s north side knocked out power for hundreds of people.

Neighbors told CBS 58 that the driver said that he was changing a song on his ipod when he swerved off the road and smashed into an electric pole.

We Energies said that put about 200 people in the dark.

People in the area said that they saw sparks and flames at the scene.

They said that the driver left the car unharmed and police took him away in a squad car.

Officers blocked off the intersection of 60th & Lloyd while crews cleaned up the scene.

Power was restored to those people affected shortly before 10 p.m.
