Coping with the cold
Milwaukee -- With no relief in sight, some people are finding ways to cope with the cold while others are getting out of town.
"I'm leaving this cold weather for a week on a cruise and I can't wait," explained Erica Allemang-Reinke.
If you plan to stay in town during the cold snap you shouldn't use a stove to heat your home and be careful not to put any clothing or debris near space heaters.
"Now it's more important than ever to be safe," explained Milwaukee Fire Department Battalion Chief Jim Ley.
Of course while you're out bundling up properly and wearing layers is essential to survival in the bitter cold.
