WAUKESHA-- There might not be a better combo- cookies and toys.

Little boys and girls dressed in their Sunday best got the chance to meet Santa.

But there's a bigger picture.

"They're helping us provide for our click for St. Nick toy drive which is essentially going to provide upwards of 5,500 toys for underprivileged children," said Rebecca Ehlars, a representative from Boys & Girls Club.

Steinhafels and CBS58 teamed up for the Cookies with Santa toy drive for the Boys and Girls Club of metro Milwaukee to make sure every child's holiday is special.

"It offers opportunities to kids who wouldn't have them otherwise," said Michele Mitchell, who brought her five year old to make sure she also took something home with her, a lesson.

"It's really important to me to show her that is more than just getting the gifts it's also about giving to those in need."
