Construction on National Avenue in West Allis is complete

WEST ALLIS -- Good news for drivers in West Allis. A portion of National Avenue closed for construction is set to reopen Thursday.

Crews blocked off National Avenue between 84th and 92nd Streets while road work was done.

Thursday afternoon, officials will cut a ribbon and reopen the road to traffic.

Two new businesses have also been built on the street. An immigration law office and a Peruvian restaurant will be welcomed at Thursday afternoon's ribbon cutting.
