Community Reacts to Arrest in Slain Officer's Murder
BROOKFIELD -- The day Wauwatosa Police announce an arrest in Slain Wauwatosa Officer, Jennifer Sebena murder, Sebena's family plans her funeral services. Lead Paster at Elmbrook Church, where the service will be held, Scott Arbeiter, says the family is heartbroken with the loss of Jennifer.
After three days without naming a suspect in the Christmas Eve shooting, police arrest Jennifer's husband Ben for her alleged murder. Pricilla Stone-Johnson who was visiting the Elmbrook Church Book Store says, "I am still praying that this is going to be worked out through the legal process and that he is innocent." Over in Ben Sebena's parent's neighborhood, one neighbor spoke out about gun violence and called for stricter laws to help prevent deadly attacks like Jennifer's. "We need to feel safe in our society," says Pat Egland. Jennifer's services are open to the public and will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield. |
