WAUWATOSA---Tracey Dent didn't know officer Jen Sebena but when he heard the slain officer's story he felt compelled to do something in her honor.

It would be something in addtion to the tribute by the police department and Officer Sebena's family and friends last weekend.

"We want to pay our respects to the family, the Wauwatosa Police Department and even the people of Wauwatosa," Dent told CBS 58 News.

So his Milwaukee based Peace Change Alliance group will hold a vigil right in the parking lot of a church just steps from the crime scene.

It is the latest attempt to bring focus to the victim as so much attention is drawn by the accused, her husband.

The public vigil begins Friday at 6:00 p.m.

It will be helod at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church at 1615 N Wauwatosa Avenue.

All are welcome to attend.
