City of Milwaukee tows 250 cars for snow emergency parking rule violationsMILWAUKEE -- The City of Milwaukee declared a Snow Emergency on Wednesday and, according to the winter parking rules, 250 cars got towed on Thursday morning. Tow trucks started making their rounds around midnight near Prospect Avenue and Brady Street on the east side. CBS 58 cameras caught several cars being hoisted on truckbeds and taken to the City Lot on 38th and Lincoln. The City Lot opened up at 7:00 Thursday morning and several people expressed frustration that their cars were towed. The City of Milwaukee did make 22 Milwaukee Public School parking lots available for residents in snow zones to park. |
