BROOKFIELD -- The Wauwatosa officer allegedly killed by her husband, Jennifer Sebena, attended Elmbrook Church with her husband Benjamin Sebena. The pastor at Elmbrook Church says Jennifer's family is heartbroken as they plan a funeral service that will be attended by close to 1,000 people.

A few days after Jennifer's death, police reveal they believe her husband killed her. Elmbrook Church member Pricilla Stone-Johnson says, "My heart goes out to both families. They are in our thoughts and prayers."

Stone-Johnson tells us she hopes police got it wrong. "I am still praying that this is going to be worked out through the legal process, and that he is innocent," says Stone-Johnson.

Pat England, neighbor of Benjamin's parents, is a former military wife. She thinks there was a problem with Benjamin's reintergration into society after his two tours in Iraq. She says, "After you spend most of your days and nights on aregular basis wondering if you are going to live tomorrow, come back to any society that is normal. How do you do that?"

The public serice for Jennifer takes place at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.

People looking to honor Sebena's memory set up the Remembering Wauwatosa Police Officer Jennifer Sebena Facebook page.

There's also a memorial fund to pay for her funeral. Donations should be sent to Focus Credit Union branches.
