MILWAUKEE---On Wednesday afternoon, Santa Claus visited the Wisconsin Humane Society and delivered 3,000 tennis balls.

The tennis balls were donated in hopes of keeping the canines properly exercised and entertained as they wait for loving homes this holiday season.

"Nothing like a good playtime," Jill Degrave of the Humane Society tells CBS 58 News. "They're going to have a great time playing with the tennis balls and should be a lot of fun to watch."

The tennis balls were donated by Elite Sports Clubs.
