Chase of Illinois suspects ends in Wisconsin

RACINE COUNTY-- Officials in Wisconsin stop suspects wanted for burglary and aggravated battery to police in Illinois.

Wisconsin Sate Patrol received a call from Illinois State Police that they were pursing a grey Chevy Silverado wanted for the crimes that happened in Elgin, IL.

A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper was behind the vehicle which was traveling northbound on I-94 just over the IL/WI border.

The trooper and Kenosha County Sheriff tried to stop the vehicle, but it continued traveling northbound in Racine County.

The Racine County Sheriff Department deployed spikes and struck the vehicle's front tire causing it to stop at Highway 11 in Racine county.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle were both taken into custody.
