CEDARBURG -- Downtown Cedarburg could best be described as "quaint". Neighbors exchange friendly "hello's" while browsing small shops and restaurants. In one tiny tavern something far more sinister allegedly transpired on multiple occasions.

Tales of drugging and sexual assault by restaurant owner Jacob Banas led to a full raid last week of tavern August Weber Haus. According to a police search warrant, Banas lured women to his business to take advantage of them. The first instance was reported to police in November 2008. A woman told police she randomly met Banas at a nearby bar where he ordered her a tall vodka and cranberry. She then alleged Banas asked if she wanted to fondue at his place.

According to the search warrant, the victim says her memory is blank. A friend of the victim said she returned with no shoes. Later she texted banas asking, "Did you use a condom when we had sex last night?" Banas said no and then sent a bottomless picture of the woman asking for round two.

The same story is repeated by several different women over the years. In many instances nude photos were taken, even shared with other bar patrons. The latest happened this past April. A woman says he offered her a drink, she blacked out, a friend drove her home where her husband found her passed out and incoherent on the floor.

Banas has not been arrested or charged yet in this case.
