MOUNT PLEASANT -- A duffle bag filled with $15,000 of cocaine was thrown from a speeding vehicle involved in a high-speed chase with Mount Pleasant police. Police tried to pull the blue sedan over for speeding on Hwy. 32, but the vehicle sped off.

Police say the blue sedan reached speeds over 100 mph by the time the pursuit was terminated. During the chase officers saw a duffle bag being thrown from the vehicle. The bag contained 500 grams of cocaine with a street value of over $15,000.

Police are looking for a blue Nissan Maxima or Altima with dark tinted windows.
