BEAVER DAM --- A man called 911 while standing on the roof of his car after it fell through the ice and became submerged.

It was around 3:12 p.m. when 19-year-old Kyle Daniels was driving on Beaver Dam Lake. The car broke though the ice and began to sink.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Department were notified and sent police and fire rescue to look for the man. A short time later Daniels also called police while standing on the roof of his submerged vehicle.

Daniels was able to walk on the ice to the Beaver Dam Fire Department hovercraft that took him to shore safely. Daniels did not need medical treatment.
