Voces de Frontera is bringing attention to immigration reform and ending deportations today with a day-long fast. Advocates will lead a series of events across the state as part of the Wisconsin Solidarity Fast and also push for lawmakers to act quickly on a new immigration reform bill.

The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County is pleading for help for its red kettle campaign. Volunteers are needed to fill the roles of kettle bell ringers, shuttle drivers, toy sorters and to help with the annual Christmas Feast.

Greendale police are warning those planning to participate in a city bus protest today to keep off of Southridge Mall property. The protest is in response to the mall's decision to move bus stops off of mall grounds. Mall management has asked Greendale police to arrest anyone demonstrating on its property.

A candlelight vigil is planned for Waukesha residents who have lost access to Badgercare. A coalition of organizations will lead the vigil at 6:15 tonight at Cutler Park in Waukesha.
