Milwaukee - The Department of Neighborhood Services in Milwaukee made the decision to shut down the Esperanza building located in the 600 block of West National Avenue. The building has a sprinkler system that is need of repairs, according to the Department of Neighborhood Services.

The Department of Neighborhood Services tells CBS 58 the property owners have been given several warnings. Business owners will be able to go inside the building to retrieve their belongings. They will have to coordinate with the property owners and the city.

The property will remain closed until the sprinkler system has been fixed, tested, and approved by the City of Milwaukee.
