"It's horrific. Our lives are changed forever," says burn survivor, Bill Ester of Kenosha.

Ester joined a group of hundreds of people made up of burn victims, their families and caregivers at the Frontier Center in Milwaukee. The city is hosting the World Burn Congress.

18 years ago, Ester was hauling gasoline in a semi-truck near HWY 45 and Good Hope Road when the truck had a mechanical failure and exploded. He suffered burns all over his body.

CBS 58's Elizabeth Fay shares Ester's story of recovery and how music helped him make a comeback after the crash.
