MILWAUKEE -- 19-year-old Miguel Morales-Rodriguez is charged with second degree homicide for his part in the death of his sister, 15-year-old Brendaliz Morales Rodriguez. Brendaliz was killed in the early morning hours of January 8th.

Polie say Miguel told them the shooting was accidental, and the gun went off when he dropped the gun. The complaint says the two siblings were fighting over a video game, and Miguel had a gun in his hands. Miguel allegedly confessed to loading a magazine into the gun, but says he did not pull the trigger.

The family of the Brendaliz Morales Rodriguez, the teen accidentally shot and killed in her home, is asking for help covering funeral expenses. In a release, Milwaukee Alderman Jose Perez asked residents to contribute funds to help the family send her body to Puerto Rico.
