MADISON---Brookfield East High School graduate Brian Stowe is charged in Dane County with drugging eight women and recording them in sex acts while passed out.

He's facing both state and federal charges involving the victims, six of whom were co-workers and one who is just 17-years-old.

Investigators say Stowe committed the acts in his Madison apartment, the apartment of a friend and at a luxury resort in Colorado.

They say the 28-year-old drugged the women and videotapes himself having sex with them while they were unconscious.

They say they have recovered the evidence on his home computer.

"This is not simply an after bar practical joke that went awry," Assist Dane County D.A. Corey Stephan told a judge while seeking to have an increase in bail.

The defense attorney argued against a high bail saying there was no evidence his client was a flight risk.

Stowe's mother posted his more than half million dollar bond to get him released.

Authorities said Wednesday that with the federal charge will no longer get bail.

CBS 58 News stopped by the family home in Elm Grove Wednesday night seeking comment, but nobody answered the door.
