GREEN BAY-Many have wondered when the Packers would retire number four's jersey and host him at Lambeau.

In an interview with Sirius XM NFL radio, Brett Favre said he's been talking with the team and that he will be back to Green Bay, hopefully this season.

Favre also shared in the interview that he has a good relationship with current QB Aaron Rodgers.

It was back in April that team president Mark Murphy said that the Packers were working on a date with Favre.

"We have had communication," Favre said on the radio. "Not that it's really anybody else's business with all due respect. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Green Bay, and it's not about me. It's not necessarily about them. It's about the fans and respect. When the time is right. They're going to have things to do. They have a season to play. They have to get ready, and I don't want to be a distraction for them."
