Braun could speak soon about suspension
MILWAUKEE -- ESPN reports some MLB players were upset with Brewers Outfielder Ryan Braun for admitting to cheating after he accepted to a 65 suspension from baseball.
ESPN claims it has three sources that confirmed after Braun's failed drug test in 2011, he lobbied other players for support. He's alleged to have told those players the sample collector Dino Laurenzi Junior of Pleasant Prairie was a fan of the Chicago Cubs. Braun even claimed he heard Laurenzi was an anti-semite.
Those in Milwaukee's Jewish Community say without hard evidence statements like that potentially damage real claims.
Major League Baseball has supported Lauranzi during the whole process.
Sources close to Braun say that he will admit he used performance enhancing drugs during parts of the 2011 season and that he has begun sending apologies to baseball officials.
