Bomb squad called to assisted living community

WAUWATOSA --- An assisted living community had to take action this morning after a bomb threat was called in.

It happened at the St. Camillus Campus around 8:15 a.m. The residents were moved to another part of the building after they received a threatening phone call.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office bomb squad unit was called to the campus around 9:30 a.m. After a search of the premises the bomb squad found nothing and the residents were allowed back into the building.

The scene was cleared around 10:00 a.m.

The person who made the threat has been arrested and the case has been referred to the DA for charges. The threat was not made by an employee of St. Camillus.
