Body pulled from Milwaukee River near Wisconsin Ave.

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Fire Department pulled a body from the Milwaukee River after a short dive rescue operation. The body was recovered near Wisconsin Ave.

The Milwaukee Police Department says this is not the body of Nick Wilcox, the 24-year-old man who was last seen on New Year's Eve.

They have confirmed the body is a male between the ages of 40 and 50. The Wilcox family has been notified that the body is not Nick's.

Police are working to identify the body.
