Apartment fire displaces 20 Thursday morning

The fire broke out at an apartment building in the 3444 N. 17th Street near the intersection of Keefe. CBS 58 sources say that first responders were called to the blaze just after 3:30 in the morning. The Red Cross is also involved in helping to support at least 20 people who are going through this tragic experience. Milwaukee city busses have been brought in to help warm up people who have been forced into the cold temperatures.


There are no reports of injuries and no word on a cause yet.
